This one day workshop takes place in Canton, Missouri on Friday, April 29, 2022.  After the workshop, join in the Hannibal/Canton Plein Air event in Canton on Saturday, April 30, and in Hannibal on Sunday, May 1, 2022. https://hannibalarts.com/gallery/river-bluffs-paint/

In this workshop we will cover how to pick a great scene, how to block in to create strong compositions, materials, tools and set-up for Plein Air and limited palette.

We will do a few quick sketches in a sketchbook along with a couple small color studies.  I will show you how do to excute these and then you will do them on our own with my help.  After lunch we will do a full painting. Lots of one-on-one instruction.  Supply list to follow after sign up.

Have you ever wanted to try painting but did not know where to begin or what materials you need? Then this one day workshop is for you! You don't even need to buy any supplies!  You can use the instructor's for a small fee.  

In this workshop, you will learn about the different materials available, how to mix colors and the actual application of the paint. There will be some hands on exercises with quick demos of each step. You will be doing these exercises as we go along.   Class size is limited to 8 students.

Cost is $65 with instructor's supplies - $50 using your own supplies
